It was reported yesterday that Nigerian duo, Omah Lay and fast rising musician, Tems were both arrested in Uganda for violating coronavirus safety protocols.
Omah Lay took to Twitter to lament how he’s being treated in Uganda and plead with Nigerian Foreign Affairs to intervene on their behalf.
According to him, he didn’t organize any show. He was just invited to perform to teeming fans and that was what he did. He continue by saying, they tried everything possible for them to be granted bail but all to no avail.
Many people are pleading with Uganda Police to release them. Among them is Nigerian Afrobeat star who also took to Twitter to plead for his release. Below is what he wrote on his Twitter page;
