galamsey

It has become a fight for every country especially in Africa to put a stop to illegal mining also known as galamsey but it seems the people the act favor are not in support of quitting it.

Some days ago, a Chinese man was to be deported for mining illegally and also having illegal house permits.

This has become a warning to those who are still in the act.

But this is not the case of this guy who could be in his late 20s or early 30s. He is seen in a video championing the act and condemning those who frown on it.

According to him, he makes 200 cedis to 400 cedis a day working on their galamsey mining site.

It is obvious there are less job opportunities in this country and one could say that is exactly why this young man is not ready to give up on his job as an illegal miner.

In the video, he also mentioned that he is just waiting for soldiers to appear on their site to ask them to stop their act and they will see his bad side.

The boy as seen in the video was holding a 100 cedis note, a 50 cedis note and some other notes all amounting to 200 cedis.
