Ghanaian actress Efia Odo talks about prices of commodities in Ghana and how it is affecting the youth in Ghana.
She said that everything from food prices to crime has gone up dramatically meanwhile there are no works for the youth to do.
She added that late last year, she bought a crate of egg 18 or 19 cedis but now it’s 24 and she believes that it will shoot up very soon.
Her post reads “Pretty soon food prices will be increased by 20%. This is getting out of control. I remember late last year I used to buy a crate of egg for 18/19 cedis, now it’s 24 cedis I’m sure by next month it’ll be nearly 30 cedis.
I’ve also noticed crime has increased in this country. The amount of armed robberies being reported daily has gone up dramatically. I really dey fear for the future of Ghana and Ghanaians. #FixTheCountry”
