On 22nd February 2022, former GHAMRO Chairman Rex Omar revealed how much Ghanaian act Shatta Wale has earned in interaction with Kafui Dey on the GTV Breakfast show.
Rex Omar said the organization has not been working 100% for some years now but it’s now getting better because they distributed the royalties in December last year.

He added that the Shatta Movement boss Shatta Wale was the highest earner with Ghc 30,000 in December 2021. The organization is waiting for Shatta Wale’s management to bring his account to be paid.
